To the amazing ML/LD community,

With “World Mental Health Day” happening earlier in the week there was a huge amount of noise around the world as to the impact that devices are having on the bodies minds and sould of generations past, present and likely the future.

One article that really caught my eye was a mission trying to redefine exercise culture in that rather than focusing on setting “personal bests” in reagrds to times, number of reps or higher score we should perhaps be focusing on the physical and mental health benefits of exercise as a stand alone activity. Some people feel excluded from the exercise and sports communities due to the focus on high achievement and performance. It’s an interesting discussion.

Included in this edition is a pretty robust study connecting ADHD and social media as well as the emerging trend of localitlies and states suing big tech for the role in device addiction.

And we fully get the irony that you are reading this on a device, We stand firmly as advocates of technology, believing that it can enrich our lives when approached with balance and intention. Our goal is to minimise the adverse effects of device overuse while celebrating technology’s immense potential.
